Trial Run
It is a good idea to schedule your hair and makeup trial run several months in advance of your wedding. We book up quickly, especially for the more popular months like January, February and March.
You may want to take advantage of our Soft Hold Agreement which allows you some time to schedule and have your trial.
During your one-on-one consultation and trial, we’ll discuss your hair and makeup inspiration and overall wedding theme (colors, attire, embellishments, head piece, etc.) and use them as a guide to create your unique wedding day look.
We are currently conducting trials at a location of your choice as we are working on our new studio! We will come to any location up to 45 minutes from West Palm Beach. Travel fees are included in your trial fee which is as follows:
Bride and Party Members:
Hair & MU (approx. 2 hours) | $350 |
Hair Only (approx. 1 1/2 hour) | $225 |
MU Only (approx. 1 1/2 hour) | $225 (includes traditional or airbrush makeup and lashes) |
For more information on what to expect at your trial and how to best prepare, take a look at our Trial Prep sheet.
What to Expect
- Personal, at-home consultation where your artist(s) will take time to look at photos of your wedding inspiration ideas, chat about your overall wedding theme, look at pictures of your dress, bridesmaid’s dresses and hair and makeup ideas.
- Clear communication and guidance spending time on your chosen hairstyle and makeup look. The artist will also take detailed notes and photos to capture your look and recreate it on your special day.
- If you want to use clip-in extensions, it is a good idea to have them at your trial. If you’re not sure what to buy or where, feel free to call or email and we can help.
- Please make sure to request airbrush makeup during the quote process and before scheduling your trial as not all of our makeup artists, although equally talented, offer airbrush makeup.
A few weeks before your wedding, we will put together a customized wedding day hair and makeup timeline to keep the morning organized and stress free. Then, on the day of your wedding, if you choose on-location services, the Beautiful Brides Florida team will arrive on-site to beautify you and your bridal party.

Trial Run Payments & Terms
All trials booked require a $150 deposit. This deposit is non-refundable and will go toward your trial and/or final contract fees. If you are interested in booking a trial, the first step is to complete our Start the Process form and someone will get back to you right away.
If you do need to postpone, give us 72 hours or more and we will transfer your trial deposit one time to a new date. If you reschedule again, a new $150 trial deposit will be required.
- At your trial run, if you decide to book with us, you will be sent a final contract within 24-48 hours, which secures your date and stylists. A 50% deposit is due at the time of the trial with the remaining balance due 30 days prior to the wedding.
- If your wedding day is 30 days or less from the time of your trial run, the fees will be due in full.
- If you only wish to pay the trial fees and think about booking later, that is perfectly fine. However, without a signed contract your date and stylists will not be secured.
Your Wedding Day
A few weeks before your wedding, we will put together a customized wedding day hair and makeup timeline to keep the morning organized and stress free. You will also receive – or can take a look now at – our Wedding Day Prep sheet. It outlines everything you need to prepare before your team arrives.
On the day of your wedding, the Beautiful Brides Florida team will arrive on-site a half hour prior to the first scheduled appointments to beautify you and your bridal party.
And don’t worry — we do 15-20 minutes of touch ups for each member of your party after everyone has been completed and right before you leave. So anyone first on the timeline can rest assured they will be completely touched up before they leave for the day’s festivities!
